Keeping up...

I actually can't believe October is almost finished. Alex just turned to me yesterday and said that we needed to review our healthcare elections for next year! WHAT?! Didn't we just do that a few months ago?? Next is Thanksgiving and then Christmas and then a whole new year starts.

We have actually started talking about how we want to handle Christmas this year. As each year has passed, we come back to what we want to be remembered and what is most important about Christmas holidays. This year, the plan is to narrow down our Christmas list even further, what we get the girls and others, and focus on spending time and enjoying each other. The girls have already been talking about "what they want for Christmas" so we may have our work cut out for us in explaining new traditions. Oh, don't worry. The girls will not be in want. We're not ogres! But do they really need EVERYTHING, or MOST things, or MANY things? Probably not.
