Baby Dedication

Yesterday, September 6, our family stood before our church [with several other families] and promised to raise or children with the guidance of Jesus Christ and the support of the rest of our church family. Both of my parents were also there. Pastor Josh, shared a life verse with Damaris



Ephesians 3:14-15:
For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven adn on earth is named, that according to the riches of glory, hey may grat you to be strenthened with power thorugh his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in you heart through faith-that you being rooted and grounded in love may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breath adn length and heigh and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knoledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

And then Pastor asked family and friends to come up and lay hands on our family as a whole, in support and prayer for our little ones. My parents came up, as did Amanda, and so did Shauna and Leonard, my new friends! It was so neat to feel that prayerful support not only from those standing right around us, but from COC as a whole.




These were taken before church. Damaris wasn't really cooperating with the little mini shoot. But they are cute anyway.
